Tableau Data Visualization

In my Business Statistics course, I had to create a data visualization chart in Tableau on starting and mid career salaries at 150 state schools. Each dot represents a school which shares school name, city, state, and numerical representations of starting and mid career salaries.

The size of the dots has to do with average mid career median salaries; the larger the mid career salary, the bigger the dot. The darker dots represent higher starting salary. The visualization shows that Northeast schools as well as California schools have higher starting and mid career salaries.

This was a great experience for me to test my technological capabilities and to see what the job market looks like. Being a student at a state university, I have found this information very relevant in starting my career.
